Andy Hammond Consulting is standing by to help you obtain, renew, or upgrade your U.S. Coast Guard credential and/orSTCW-95 endorsement.
We offer one-on-one service to help you gain the knowledge and confidence to know exactly how to apply for the right credential to suit your needs as a mariner.
The process to apply for a U.S. Coast Guard license or document has changed!
As of September 8th, 2008, ALL applications will be forwarded to the U.S. Coast Guard National Maritime Center for evaluation and issuance.
This has a profound effect on all mariners in the United States. The Coast Guard will NOT accept any applications that are not "complete", which can greatly delay the process.
It is more crucial than ever to understand EXACTLY what you need to submit to make the process go smoothly!!
Andy Hammond Consulting is highly qualified to help you with this process based on our experience in this field. Andy Hammond was the Chief of the U.S. Coast Guard Regional Examination Center (REC) in Boston from 1998 until September of 2006. During these crucial transitional years, REC Boston was one of the most efficient and mariner friendly RECs in the nation. Andy's background in the U.S. Merchant Marine and current position as the Executive Director of the Boston Harbor Pilot Association make him the perfect consultant for all of your Coast Guard credentialing issues.
